Caregivers can learn to ‘let it go’ at the library

On Monday, the Wearable Arts Group of the American Sewing Guild meets at the library to share ideas and to work on new projects. At
5 p.m., join us for a free Monday Night Movie on the big screen. Sit back, relax and enjoy “Practical Magic,” a wry, comic romantic tale which follows the Owens sisters as they struggle to use their hereditary gift to overcome the obstacles of discovering true love. This film stars Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman and Aidan Quinn.

The master gardeners from the Sarasota Cooperative Extension Service will answer all your Florida landscaping and gardening questions from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday. This is a perfect opportunity for those of us new to Florida gardening to discover when to plant our vegetable gardens and how to water our yards. Consult an expert for free. At
10:15 a.m., the Forty Carrots Family Center offers a free Partners in Play program for families with children ages 1 to 5. Enjoy meaningful playtime with your child, experience new activities and gain valuable parenting information. Attendance is limited to 10 families on a first-come, first-served basis. At 11 a.m., the Knitting Group meets in the upstairs meeting room.
