This is an exciting weekend on West Dearborn Street. You won’t want to miss the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Traveling Memorial Wall at 10 a.m. Saturday in Pioneer Park on the 300 block of Dearborn. Then stop by the Winter Fine Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. West Dearborn will be blocked to traffic. And don’t forget to stop in at the library and stock up on your weekend books and DVDs.

The Mac/Reunion Special Interest Group of the Englewood Genealogical Society of Florida meets at
10 a.m. Monday at the Elsie Quirk Library. At
5 p.m., take a break from holiday shopping for a free Monday Night at the Movies. The December films feature Nicolas Cage. This week he portrays a treasure hunter in hot pursuit of a mythical treasure that has been passed down for centuries in a race against his employer-turned-enemy.
