In the heart of downtown Englewood, you can’t help but notice one of the stateliest live oak trees in the area. I would be willing to bet it is one of the oldest too. It is the one you will see many people sitting beneath enjoying a great meal at Ole Time Café.
Owners Millie Paulson and daughter Patty Frink have gone out of their way to make you feel at home, just like in the old days. It’s a place where a person is not just a customer but a friend. Ole Time — at 470 W. Dearborn St. — has many old clocks, reminding you of a laid-back time.
