John G. Nettleton, 83, of Englewood, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.

He was born April 12, 1929, in Manhattan, N.Y., and has lived in Englewood over 20 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force.

John is survived by his wife, Theresa; two sons, Paul (Amy Furness) of Miami, Fla., and Bill of Englewood; daughter, Linda (Dan) Kelso of Longwood, Fla.; and eight grandchildren, J.T., Kelly, Kara, Kristen, Aiden, Ryan, Kaitlyn and Paige.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with funeral services starting at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood.
