Florence M. Davis, 77, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.

She was born Sept. 9, 1935, in Detroit, Mich., to Richard and Florence (nee Gregg) Samson.

After retiring from Comerica Bank, Florence moved to Englewood in 1987, from Livonia, Mich. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Florence is survived by her husband, Robert N. Davis; sons, Robert Davis, and Rick Davis both of Concrete, Wash., Glenn Davis of Flint, Mich., Ken Davis of South Lyons, Mich., and Donald Davis of Rockledge, Fla.; daughters, Bonnie Miller of Lakeland, Fla., Carolyn Atkinson of Gainesville, Fla., and Kimberly Keeler of Fowlerville, Mich.; sister, Edie Hersback of Flint; and many grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, with funeral services to follow at Calvary Baptist Church in Englewood. Burial to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. You may express your condolences to the family at lemonbayfh.com.
