Violet “Vi” Panetta, 92, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

She was born April 20, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., to Carrol and Lena Klinke.

Vi was a loving wife, mother, nurse, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Bruno; sons, Dave (Becky) of Dacula, Ga., Don (Beth) of Littleton, Colo., Doug of New York, N.Y., Joe (Edie) of Franklin, Pa., and Tony of Oil City, Pa.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Edwards, in 2008.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood. Inurnment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
