Alta Marie Keaser
Alta Marie Keaser, 79, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Fla.
Born May 18, 1933, in Crofton, Ky., to Everett and Carrie (Long) Pyle, she had been a resident of Sarasota County for 56 years, coming from Detroit, Mich.
Mrs. Keaser worked at Phyllis’ Beauty Salon in Englewood from 1967 to 1977. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a team leader for the Awanis Youth Club. Currently she was a member of Fellowship Church in Englewood.
Survivors include daughters, Gale M. (Tom) Watson of Englewood; Carol N. (Joseph) Delagarza of Sarasota; sons, David D. Keaser of Englewood, and Dale W. Keaser of Sarasota; sisters, Anita Kasbarian of Westland, Mich., and Judy Holbrook of Garden City, Mich.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Keaser in 2006; parents, Everett and Carrie; sisters, Lois Hall and Mina Ramsey; and a brother, Athel Pyle.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at the Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road with the Rev. Garry Clark of Fellowship Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park Cemetery.
