Katherine “Pat” McGinn, 87, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013.

Pat was born March 3, 1926, in New York City, N.Y.

She and her family moved to Englewood in December 1954, from a farm in Flemington, N.J. Pat was known by many in the Englewood area as a longtime waitress at the former Cajun Club Restaurant. Besides raising her children, she loved to work in her yard and share time with her dogs, cats and many other family pets throughout the years.

Pat is survived by her six children, Kip, Kim, Ann, Mark, Adam and Steven; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, by whom she will be greatly missed.

A memorial will be private.
