PUNTA GORDA — Charlotte High School’s boys soccer team found the going rough against visiting Lakewood Ranch Monday night, losing to the Mustangs 7-0.

But the Tarpons may have learned some things in the loss despite never really getting its offense going. In contrast, Lakewood Ranch fired 16 shots on goal while dominating the match from start to finish.
