Jack Carlton Hayman, 86, of Wauchula, passed away on Jan. 5, 2013, at Kindred Hospital Tampa.
He was born in Bartow on Aug. 4, 1926.
He moved to Hardee County from Highlands County in 1958.
Mr. Hayman was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and had been employed by Hardee County as the County Agriculture Extension Director. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Pauline Atwood Martin Hayman; and son, Mark Carlton Hayman.
Survivors include his son, Paul Slade Hayman, DVM, and wife, Celia, of Wauchula; brother, W. P. Hayman, Jr. and wife, Maude, of Maitland; brother-in-law, W.S. Martin and wife, Marion, of Fort Meade; grandson, Paul C. Hayman of Lakeland; nephew, Tom Rew and wife, Diane, of Kenansville and Caregiver, Debra Louis.
Funeral services are Thursday, Jan. 10 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 114 N. 7th Ave., Wauchula, at 2 p.m., with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Rev. Brook Larrison will officiate.
Interment is at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
Robarts Family Funeral Home, Wauchula, is in charge of arrangements.
