W. George Mooneyham, 87, passed away from heart failure Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.

He worked
for U.S. Steel for 40 years and was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church of Bartow.

George is survived by his wife of 68 years, Madell (Parrish) Mooneyham; sons, Ronnie Mooneyham (Joyce), Charlie Mooneyham (Linda), brother, Billy Mooneyham (Lynn), sister, Doris Peacock; four grandchildren, Michael, Staci, Richard, and Kirk; three great grandchildren, Kirk, Ryan, and Reeve.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 13 from 2-4 p.m. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
