Grace Harrison

Grace E. Harrison, 84, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Savannah Cottage in Lakeland of heart failure.

She was born April 25, 1928, in Lakeland to Dalton and Alberta Hebb Elliott.

She was a lifelong resident of the area.

Mrs. Harrison was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lakeland. She was a past commander and member of the Post #4, American Legion Ladies Auxillary of Lakeland.

Mrs. Harrison was a avid gardner and enjoyed bowling and ball room dancing.

Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Bob Harrison.

She is survived by three sons, Robert D. Harrison and wife, Nancy, of DeBary, Fla., Steven W. Harrison and wife, Marion, of Lakeland, Kent A. Harrison and wife, Gabriella, of Orlando; daughter, Cathy Bailey and husband, Paul, of Zephryhills; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside interment services are Friday, March 1, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Lakeland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Chapel, 72 Lake Morton Dr. Lakeland.
