Bengals will try McCalebb on defense

Auburn running back Onterio McCalebb, a native of Fort Meade, hopes his speed will help make the transition from the college game to the NFL a possibility. He will be at a mini-camp with the Cincinnati Bengals later this week, getting a look at cornerback despite the fact he was a running back at Auburn.

Unofficially, Onterio McCalebb believes his NFL Scouting Combine 40-yard dashes were 4.27 seconds and 4.21. Two weeks later at the Auburn pro day, it was 4.29.
