Polk County Commissioners are providing residents resolved to living healthier an early start to their New Year’s resolutions with a hike at Circle B Bar Reserve, one of Polk County’s environmental lands.

Commissioner George Lindsey will host the New Year’s Day “Here’s to Your Health Hike” at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, at the 1,267-acre park on State Road 540 (Winter Lake Road) in Lakeland. The event will feature a two-mile hike through the oak hammock of Circle B and along the shoreline of Lake Hancock.
