Members of the Tiger Bay Club of
Polk County unable to attend Monday’s Feb. 10 luncheon missed out on the opportunity to hear John Stewart, interim Polk County Schools System superintendent. Before a sparse crowd estimated between 20-25 people (excluding the media), Stewart held forth on a number of issues of concern to the school system and Polk County residents.
He launched his presentation by rhetorically asking his audience what did they believe mattered most when it comes to teaching students.
