The Veterans Services Office in coordination with the Veterans Advisory Board and the Medal of Honor Park Committee will host a Pearl Harbor Remembrance near the Veteran Services Office in the Medal of Honor Park at 2 p.m. Friday. The Veteran Services Office is located at 7209 South George Blvd. in Sebring, directly behind the County Health Department building.

The ceremony will honor the heroes of Pearl Harbor on Dec.7, 1941, the day the Japanese attacked the United States on our military bases in Hawaii. The date is set aside to honor the service members who were serving at Pearl Harbor 71 years ago.
