A special candlelight worship service is scheduled for Christmas Eve at Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake Placid. Special music will be at 6:30 p.m., followed at 7 o’clock by the worship time.

The service will feature music by the New Song Praise Band along with Scripture readings, carols, communion, and a brief Christmas meditation by senior pastor Rev. John Bryant. The service will conclude with candle lighting by the congregation and pastors and the singing of “Silent Night” and “Joy to the World.”
