The Humane Society of Highlands County is asking donations of household items to be sold at its third annual Paw Prints Sale-A-Thon set for Saturday at the Bert J. Harris Jr. AgriCivic Center on U.S. 27 near Sebring.

“The season of joy and giving may be coming to a close, but there are always needs and the joy of giving needs no season,” a spokesman said. The Humane Society of Highlands County is a no-kill facility where animals can wait for a “forever” family.
