“The magic continues” was the theme for the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce annual awards and recognition banquet Thursday evening at the Island View Restaurant at Sun ‘n Lake Golf Course in Sebring. The theme was complete with a professional magician who entertained following dinner and the awards presentations.
Six awards were given, including the first-ever George Hensley Volunteer of the Year honor. The first recipient, fittingly, was Sebring mayor George Hensley who was called “...a humble man of integrity and his example inspires me to be a better business person and citizen of our great community,” by Chamber president Steve Nyhan. The George Hensley Volunteer of the Year award will be given annually.
