Manna Ministries sees decrease in clients
Manna Ministries, a Lake Placid based food bank, saw a slight decrease in clients during the past year, compared to 2011. The agency saw 5,993 families for food and clothing, gave out 9,315 bags of groceries, and served 328 new families throughout the year.
“The Lord blessed us to be able to serve all these people for another year,” Director Marlene Christiansen said in a newsletter. “We pray for full employment and the need to be less in the New Year.”
