The Highlands County Board of County Commissioners is currently seeking an agricultural representative to serve on the Natural Resources Advisory Commission. This advisory body speaks and advises the Commissioners on matters of natural resource protection, environmental clearances, and the stewardship of conservation efforts undertaken by, in, and for Highlands County.

The board is currently interested in applicants from agricultural, which represents occupations or sufficient educational credentials related to any of the following: commercial farm, forestry, fishery activities, agri-business, agri-sciences, or agricultural research or education.
