The Highlands County Health Department is offering Diabetes Self-Management Education classes as part of its Wellness and Diabetes Education Program. This program serves residents of all ages, especially those with diabetes or at risk for developing diabetes.

“Education is the key to success for diabetes control and for the prevention of complications,” said spokesman Tom Moran.
