How will you spend Thanksgiving Day this year? Some have said they will sleep in to prepare for the day of feasts, family and friends. Others will be awake at the crack of dawn — or earlier — to prepare the feast that will figure prominently in the day’s plans. Personally, I plan to settle in for an afternoon of football, far too much to eat, and a nap or two.

Whatever your holiday plans, let’s all remember the purpose of Thanksgiving is to “give thanks” for the bounty of blessings we have received in the last year.
