There will be a Community Easter Egg Hunt in Lake Placid this year.

The demise of the Lake Placid Merchants Association took with it the Community Easter Egg Hunt, a staple here for almost 40 years. The Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce took a look at assuming the event but declined after determining there was not enough time.
