Carmen (Dusz) Welsh, 62, of Lake Placid passed away Sunday evening, Nov. 11, 2012, at Florida Hospital Lake Placid.

Born in Cambridge, Ohio on Oct. 12, 1950, to Glenna (Johnson) and William Arthur Dusz, Mrs. Welsh moved to Lake Placid from Jacksonville six years ago. She was a retired nurse. She was of the Christian faith and attended Sunshine Christian Fellowship Church in Lake Placid. Mrs. Welsh enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Welsh was preceded in death by both her parents and brothers Jim and Keith Dusz. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Robert; a daughter, Alicia Hunt (Jeff); son, Chad Winkleman; four grandchildren, Brooke, Brendan, Trevor and Tyler; sisters, Carmelita Knight (Doug), Carol Kotoff (Larry), and Jean Cubbison (Gilbert); brothers, Beau Dusz (Jeanne) and Dana Dusz; and many nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Welsh’s life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 25 at the Pleasant City Methodist Church in Pleasant City, Ohio with Dr. Gilbert Cubbison officiating.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Scott Funeral Home, Lake Placid.
