Aneta Pearce Sullivan-Addison
Aneta Pearce Sullivan-Addison, 88, of Venus, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 22, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring.
Born June 3, 1924, in Okeechobee, to Ella (Walker) and Julius Pearce, she moved to Venus from Bassinger after graduating Okeechobee High School. She enjoyed gardening, painting pictures, baking, spending time in the outdoors and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Addison was a member of Venus Methodist Church for many years.
Mrs. Addison was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, J.W., J.C., and B.L. She is survived by her sons, Grady Sullivan (Brenda) and Wayne Sullivan (Carrie); five grandchildren, Grady, Michael, Shannon, Lycole and Caylin; and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lou Howard, Frances Hendry and Eloise Tope; two brothers, Lonnie and Herman Pearce; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Addison’s life was Monday morning, Nov. 26, at the Venus Methodist Church with Pastor Roy Arms officiating. Burial followed at the Venus Cemetery. The family suggests donations in Mrs. Addison’s memory to the Venus Methodist Church or Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Scott Funeral Home, Lake Placid.
