Anna M. (Ball) Berk, 96, of Lake Placid and formerly of St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.

Mrs. Berk was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Berk. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Clarke) Patten, Jr. and Joan (Jay) Lundy; two grandchildren, Debi Galske and Dan (Debbie) Lundy; three great grandchildren, Ashley Galske, Emily and Tess Lundy, all of Lake Placid; three step-grandchildren, Linda, Gail and Sonny, all of New Hampshire; a brother Robert (Maryanne) Ball of St. Joseph, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday Jan. 31 with funeral services to celebrate Mrs. Berk’s life starting at 11 o’clock at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, with Linda Downing officiating. Entombment will be for family members only.
