Barbara L. “Bobby” Riggleman, 72,
of Lake Placid passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring.

Born, Feb. 6, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio, to John and Thelma Lykings, she was a manager of human resources for U.S. Shoe Corp. and Elder Beerman Retail prior to her retirement in 1993, the same year she moved with her husband, James, to Lake Placid. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

Mrs. Riggleman was preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law David Schweller and granddaughter Nikki Schweller, both of Wilmington, Ohio. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James; daughter Dawn Carl (Skip) of Lake Placid; granddaughters Haley Carl of Lake Placid and Leah M. Schweller Carpenter (Don); great-grandchildren Katelynn, Brooke, Kelly, and D.J.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
