The Highlands County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations and Safe Neighborhoods Units stayed very busy with cases — some more immediate in nature and others which require long-term investigations in June.

During the month, numerous investigations and detectives developed sufficient evidence to get nine search warrants for drug related crimes at various locations throughout the county.
