With Yoyi Gomez achieving the “Hat Trick” plus one, that’s four goals in one game for the uninitiated, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ soccer team routed the Avon Park in the second half of a girls’-boys’ doubleheader Tuesday evening, Dec. 4, at Roger Scarborough Memorial Field.

After a bit of a slow start, the Green Dragons went on a scoring rampage. 20 minutes into the game Osvaldo Orduna passed to Jose Santana at the top of the penalty box and Santana obligingly found the goal. Then came Gomez who slapped two into the net in short order and Wilfreddy Moreno added a fourth to put the Green Dragons in a commanding 4-0 position at the half.
