Both the Lady Dragon varsity and junior varsity basketball teams had one-sided wins over the Frostproof Bulldogs in games played there Friday night, Dec. 7. The varsity won its game by a 47-12 score with the J.V. taking a 34-11 win against an uncharacteristically weak basketball program from a school which usually takes great pride, and its share of wins, against larger schools.

The Lady Dragon J.V.’s led it, 16-2 at the end of the first quarter, 26-2 at the half and 32-6 after three. Morgan Beasley led the Lady Green in scoring with 12. Jenny Herstein added 7, Nylasha McCray and Mimi Patterson each scored 4, Anne Weber-Callahan and Kailin Brown added 2 a piece and Shelby Dillon tossed in a free throw.
