With a 54-31 drubbing of the Clewiston Tigers Monday night, Dec. 17, the Lake Placid Lady Dragon varsity basketball team notched its fourth consecutive victory in a game played here.

The Lady Dragons went right at the Tigers with a devasting whole court press which resulted in all sorts of turnovers and early baskets for Lake Placid. In the first quarter Alexandria Coyne recorded three steals in the first couple of minutes. She fed Bria Wilson with a pass which Wilson caught without breaking stride and laid up two points. Another play had Coyne passing to Breauna Corley who shuttled the ball to Wilson for another basket. Corley stole one underneath and fired a picture-perfect pass to Coyne. Katelyn Reed fed Cassidy Teachout for two points at the buzzer. The score stood at 22-6 in favor of the Lady Green after the initial eight minutes of play.
