Despite leading the game in both the first and second quarters, and holding the score close in the third, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ junior varsity basketball team went down to a 51-36 loss to the DeSoto Bulldogs Monday night, Jan. 7, in a game played here at the Bill Ross Memorial Gymnasium.

Lake Placid led the game, 8-7, at the end of the initial quarter, and clung to a 20-18 advantage at halftime. DeSoto forged ahead in the third quarter by four points, 34-30.
