Once again playing a very competitive first half, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ junior varsity basketball team let a game get away in the third quarter Tuesday evening, Jan. 8, as the Hardee Wildcats came storming back for a 55-44 win. The game was played in Wauchula.

Lake Placid led the contest, 12-8, at the end of the first eight minutes of play. Hardee held a one-point advantage at the half, 26-25.
