Despite leading the Sebring Blue Streaks in each of the first three quarters, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ junior varsity basketball team had a heartbreaker slip away in the fourth quarter and a four-minute overtime, losing to the Sebring team, 49-44, in a game played there Thursday, Jan. 31.

The Dragons rolled to a 15-7 first-quarter lead as Ramon Galaviz and Kaetwon Lowe heated up the nets with scoring, Lowe particularly on drives to the basket, a three-point bucket from the top of the key, and a marvelous steal and coast-to-coast lay-up in the final five seconds of the quarter.
