The Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ varsity basketball team honored six senior members of the team Tuesday night, Jan. 29, with a special ceremony between the J.V. and varsity games. The high school basketball careers of Heath Harris, Benny Aguilar, Rufino Gutierrez, Nathan Stanley, Jonah Brown and Marty Hickey were celebrated at the event in the Bill Ross Memorial Gymnasium.

Despite a strong effort by five of those players, the game didn’t go quite as well for Lake Placid as the visiting LaBelle Cowboys helped themselves to a 62-48 win.
