The Lady Dragon softball team from Lake Placid High School scored a rarity over a tough Frostproof delegation Friday, March 1 when they brought home a 5-2 win. Making the feat even more impressive was that the victory came on the Frostproof field.
“It wasn’t pretty but it was a big upset win,” said Laurie-Weber Callahan. “Lake Placid hasn’t beat Frostproof (in softball) in years, maybe decades, maybe ever.”
