Two special guests that are new “employees” of the Lake Wales Police Department were introduced at the Lake Wales City Commission meeting Wednesday night.

Edge is a German Shepherd and Badge is a Belgian Malinois. The dogs were joined by Officer John Schwarze and Officer Chad Landry and attended the meeting to thank Joyce Carter, the Lake Wales resident who made it possible with a generous donation to the department.
