On President’s Day, Water’s Edge of Lake Wales will present a special American flag dedication ceremony and cookout from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18. The residents of Water’s Edge raised the money to purchase a flag pole and flag to demonstrate their patriotism. The public is invited to the dedication and to enjoy a cookout with all First Responders who work tirelessly to serve the needs of the community.

Water’s Edge is home to many veterans who served to protect America’s freedom. The colors red, white and blue often signify gratitude for shed blood, honor and America’s resolve for freedom. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks compliments of Water’s Edge.
