President Lincoln and Obamacare

President Lincoln placed our nation’s motto on our currency, “In God We Trust.” There is a tendency to trust in money and not God.

President Lincoln believed in standing up for truth and for what is “just and right.”

America has a debt of over sixteen trillion dollars. To better understand a trillion, consider counting to a million by seconds. That takes eleven days. Counting by seconds to a trillion takes over 31 thousand years. A trillion is a big number!

Our colossal debt and runaway spending is a violation of trusting in God.

Obamacare is entitled “Affordable.” After looking at our colossal debt and at our plans to take on the massive healthcare of our nation, many would consider “Affordable” very inaccurate. America needs an “Honest Abe.”

There are many other issues that are not “just and right.” This includes depriving the unborn the right of life, attacking religious freedom, and the futility of providing healthcare for those who choose unhealthy living.

Obamacare will require massive funding. It is not “just and right” to pass on more debt to future generations. They will also inherit devastating inflation.

“In God We Trust” includes healthy living and balancing the budget.

Today’s America needs President Lincoln’s wisdom. Concerning the Bible, he stated that, “it is the best gift which God has ever given man. All the good from the Savior of the world is communicated through this book. But for this book, we could not know right from wrong. All those things desirable to man are contained in it.”

Only one deity is recognized in our Constitution, “Our Lord.” He created us for healthy living morally and financially.
