Marsha Myers Kendrick

Marsha Myers Kendrick, 67, of Lake Wales, Fla., passed away Sunday Sept. 8, 2013 in Venice, Fla.

She was born Sept. 13, 1945, in Lakeland to Neal and Ann (Peterson) Myers and she grew up in Lake Wales, attended college and moved to Vero Beach to begin her teaching career with the Indian River Public School System. Following her retirement she returned to Lake Wales in the early 1980s. Marsha enjoyed raising and training horses and attending horse shows. She attended the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Peterson.

Survivors include her daughter, Christine Ann Kendrick of Portales, N.M.; and brother, Corby Myers of Lake Wales.

Memorial Service is 11a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. Thomas C. Seitz, Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers family suggests donations may be made to Lake Wales Care Center or Lake Wales Library.
