Over a six month period — June to December— the Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 suspects during an investigation focusing on those who download and distribute child pornography, and those who fail to maintain their state-mandated sexual offender or predator registration.

Sheriff Grady Judd said, “If you download or distribute child pornography – you are contributing to the victimization of children, and you go to jail. We monitor every sexual predator and offender registered in Polk County. If you fail to comply with the registration requirements, you go to jail. ”
