Everyone is invited to the wedding of Renecks Suzie Q. and Georgie Porgie at 5 p.m. on Jan. 12 at the Rotonda West American Legion Post 113, 3436 Indiana Road, Rotonda W.
Wedding planner Elaine Claussen came up with the idea. “We wanted something different, a fundraising event that would be fun for everyone, including the wedding party and their ‘guests,’” she said. “Last year our Hoedown was a huge success, and we are still planning one for this coming March, but the idea of a Redneck Wedding plus a murder mystery captured everyone’s imagination, and here we are!”
