An estimated turnout of 150 people attended the May 4 Lake Wales Area Chamber of Commerce 54th Annual Citizen of the Year Awards Gala, held at the Lake Wales Country Club.
The slate of events in addition to the awards presentation included a raffle and silent auction. Winners of the raffle were John R. Alexander, who won first prize, a choice of vacations donated by Sorensen and Schade Chrysler Dodge Jeep.
