SARASOTA COUNTY — When North Port Mayor Linda Yates arrived for meetings with each of the five Sarasota County commissioners regarding Warm Mineral Springs Monday in Sarasota, she said she had no expectations.

“I just came to talk about some of the things that are still out there that we need to talk about,” Yates said. “There are some things that we haven’t done yet with regard to kind of a direction in laying out a map of where we’re going to put high-impact kinds of facilities and what is really the desire of both boards to move forward with.”
