Board: Plan still needs tweaking

NORTH PORT — City commissioners plan to continue to look at ways to tweak the city’s Fire Rescue District assessment methodology, but the question remains as to when, and how, those changes will affect property owners beyond the 2012-13 fiscal year.

The North Port city code requires the methodology to be revisited every three years, and the city paid $45,000 to St. Augustine-based Burton and Associates for a study last year to find ways to improve that process.
