Greek dance lessons, shown here during last year’s festival, will be held all three days of the festival.
PORT CHARLOTTE — Gyros, spanakopita, baklava and beer … you may not want to eat all of those together, but fortunately the Greek Festival sponsored by Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church lasts three days — plenty of time to try all of these authentic Greek foods. Not to mention moussaka, saganaki and koulourakia.
“Greeks are very hospitable and love to eat,” Cathy Sanders said for the church’s 20th annual Greek Festival, which runs from Friday through Sunday. The $2 admission fee is good for the entire weekend.
