Veterans, community honor newest ‘Warrior’

The plaque presented to retired U.S. Army Col. Dickinson. This high-resolution image of him will be used to make a bronze plaque that will be displayed along with the other members of the “Wall of Warriors” in the Military Heritage Museum at Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda.

PORT CHARLOTTE — “A place of honor for those who have — over a significant length of time — consistently performed outstanding service to country and community.”

The above words aptly describe the type of individual that the Military Heritage Museum in Punta Gorda is seeking when it nominates someone from the community for its “Wall of Warriors.”
