‘Hey David. This is Mr. R. I am a resident of North Port. I read your paper all the time. It is not your paper alone but it seems like every paper in the county where you have the Almanac and this date in history.

I was wondering why it seems everybody just ignores the 1950s and then always seems to skip over the 1950s to every other decade. I was just curious, because the 1950s had the Korean War, in which we lost over 30,000 troops in three years, versus the Vietnam War in which we lost 57,000 over about 20 years.
