The passion vine does double duty in the landscape as an ornamental and an edible.
Often called passion fruit or passion flower, the perennial vine is famous not only for its fruit juice but also for its flowers. Vining plants such as passion vines make good use of vertical space where their vines may grow up to 30 feet long on trellises, fences, or high up, somewhat out of control, into a tree. This is a good vine to keep in mind.
